Emily Florian was born in the south and raised in Northern Alabama. In 1990, her family moved to Alaska and she got married, started a family, and lived there 30 years (with a 6 month hiatus in Hawaii.) She came back home to Alabama in 2021. In addition to raising and homeschooling 3 high-achieving children, Emily has operated a pesticide-free commercial greenhouse, organized women’s events at five different churches, started a professional life coach business, renovated houses, and helped in a family-owned contracting and home inspection business.
Emily Florian entered the Real Estate world to meet new people and help others find the joy of homeownership. Owning and renovating homes in multiple climates has given Emily the ability to see past the superficial to a home’s potential. Emily understands that getting financing for a home or investment often requires creativity and persistence. In addition to conventional financing and HELOCs, Emily has bought and sold multiple properties with owner financing, facilitated subject-to transactions, and invested in private real estate notes. Emily loves real estate and owns a family home in Madison, a short-term rental in Alaska, and a rental in Huntsville.
Caring for greenhouse customers and organizing church events helped Emily appreciate each person as unique. Emily finds win-win solutions that meet her clients’ unique needs.
